Chevrolet Cruze Launched in Malaysia and Mini Review 2010

Chevrolet CruzeLaunched in Malaysia and Mini Review 2010

After successfully introduced in Europe, Australia, India and the Asean region, the Chevrolet Cruze is destined to make its debut and was launched on Thursday in Malaysia.

All in all, the awesome Chevrolet Cruze will retail at RM97,888, of course that excludes insurance and regulatory fees. The car will be available in blue, white and red colours.

Front view of a Chevrolet Cruze

If Cruze is positioned as a bargain car in Europe, it does have the quality and style especially functionality and value to give rivals Honda and Toyota a run for their money.

The initial impressions are that the Cruze is well-screwed. Chevrolet's new design gets the praises. The twin-port grille and coupe-esque roofline give the Cruze a sporty look, whilst the interior is classy and well finished.

Chevrolet's Cruze engine bay

Chevrolet Cruze has earned a 5-star rating from the European and Australian new car assessment programme (Euro-NCAP and ANCAP), will be equipped with a 1.8-litre and four-cylinder power plant.

The engine though is reasonably smooth, it is having flat spots and seem unwilling to rev even to their modest red-lines. But that is negligible as we are not even a racer or driving an F1 car.

Nice nice nice !!

Although it's not the most exciting car on the road, it doesn't disappoints. the Chevy Cruze corners competently, although a touch of under steer and body roll can let it down around tighter bends. And again, who would bother about that ?

Interior of a Chevy Cruze. Awesome nice !

The interior is well-proportioned and the sculpted seats offer good support. Surprisingly quiet in the cabin too which is a good indicator of build quality.

Space in this car is certainly on a par with the rest of the segment, with decent head and legroom in the rear. The boot is also an adequate size, but the sedan design lacks the loading practicalities of a hatchback.

There's no shying away from the fact that the Cruze is exceptional value for money. Equipment levels are good and the overall quality and finish is befitting of a much more expensive car.

Time for our national cars to look back on at their current car price and quality or end up to facing even tougher competitions from the foreign car manufacturers.

Luna Maya, Ariel Get Indecent Proposal; Cut Tari Denies Nude Woman is Her

High-profile porn star Vicky Vette, no doubt seeking a little extra publicity given the online popularity of the Peterporn celebrity sex tape scandal, has expressed her willingness to shoot a new pornographic video with Ariel and Luna Maya.

"If ARIEL PETERPORN & Luna Maya come to the USA I'll shoot another sex tape with both of them," the buxom actress tweeted. " wonder if that would be a hit in Indonesia."

Model and television gossip show host Cut Tari, meanwhile, has broken her silence over allegations that she features in a third sex tape featuring Peterpan frontman Ariel, telling reporters gathered outside her Pondok Indah home on Wednesday night that the person featured in the graphic clip was not her.

"In my opinion, everyone has a right to express an opinion and I can't ban that as that's their right," Cut Tari was quoted by Kompass.com as saying. "The point is my husband and family do not believe that the lady is me."

She said that she was shocked and disappointed about the circulation of the video but that was one of the risks - including for her husband - of being a celebrity.

Cut Tari is a former girlfriend of Ariel.

Luna and Ariel have also reportedly denied that two film clips feature themselves, though a number of Internet bloggers and at least one Internet expert have claimed otherwise.

Regardless, the trio will get their chance to argue their case before the National Police, who have taken over the investigation from Jakarta Police.

Tamanna beautiful videosongs- Grab all

Yet another Tamil movie has now made its foray into the Telugu circuit in a dubbed version. This is titled 'Awaara'  and this has the noted Tamil actor Surya's brother  as the hero while he is flanked by hot beauties like Tamannah, Karthi, who is well known to Telugu audience as Surya’s sibling, is back again after his reasonably successful first outing Yuganiki Okkadu in Telugu.

While watching Karthi in the role of Shiva in Awara, one would feel dumb struck to see him in a seemingly glamorous avatar after his rugged portrayal in Yuganiki Okkadu.
Karthi made his debut in Tamil with Paruthi Veeran, which is termed as the cult classic of modern day Tamil cinema. It ran for a year and made Karthi a household name in Tamilnadu. With his first film itself Karthi shrugged off the ‘Surya’s brother’ tag tied around his neck. Yuganiki Okkadu cemented his place in Tamil cinema as a promising young talent. With his first two films being off beat and completely different from the commercial formula, Karthi made sure not to get into a shell by doing another serious film. He opted to do Paiyya (dubbed into Telugu as Awara) with popular director Linguswami, who is known for making commercial hits. Paiyya is just another run of the mill cinema with not much novelty in it. It is a formula ridden flick in the lines of Lingusami’s earlier film ‘Sandakozhi’ (Pandem Kodi). The film also reminds you of Mahesh’s Okkadu (Heroine rescuing part).
