最佳男主角 任达华《岁月神偷》 惠英红
The Peter Chan-produced historical epic blockbuster raked in over 300 million yuan ($43.95 million) in China last Christmas, and topped the Hong Kong Film Awards nomination list with a staggering 19 nominations in 19 categories.
“Echoes of the Rainbow歲月神偷," the nostalgia-fueled and semi-autobiographical drama directed by Alex Law and produced by Mabel Cheung (the team behind “The Soong Sisters”) that won a Crystal Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and took over HK$20 million ($2.6 million) in local boxoffice, won four awards including best actor for lead Simon Yam, best new performer for Aarif Lee, best original film song and best screenplay.
Best actress went to Kara Hui for “At the End of Daybreak." Hui, the first winner of the same award 28 years ago at the inaugural edition of the Hong Kong Film Awards for “My Young Auntie," tearfully accepted her second statuette.
