Jwala Gutta is an Indian badminton player of mixed Chinese-Indian origin who has won the National Badminton Doubles Championship seven times. She is one of the best Women’s Doubles Badminton players produced by India in recent times partnering with Shruti Kurien. She is also the wife of Chetan Anand, an Arjuna Awardee and three times National Badminton Champion.

Personal life : During her Badminton career, Jwala Gutta fell in love with fellow Badminton Player Chetan Anand, who has been the Junior National Badminton Champion in the year 1999, and Senior National Badminton Champion in the year 2003 and 2007, and has been honored with an Arjuna Award. The couple got married on the 17th of July 2005. Off late, the marriage seems to be hitting rough roads and is now living alone. Jwala Gutta is now bieng linked with Mohd Azharuddin according to news sources but Azhar declined and she was in a great agony.
