Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge is an adaptation of a short story.
Contrary to the recent news reports of Ajay Devgan’s ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge?’ being inspired by a Hollywood flick, the film is neither a remake of any Indian or International film but is actually based on ‘Tum Kab Jaaoge Atithi’, a short story penned by noted satirist Late Sharad Joshi for which the rights have been purchased.
Directed by Ashwani Dheer, Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge? also stars Konkona Sensharma and Paresh Rawal. The film is about an unwanted guest (Paresh Rawal) who enters the household of a married couple (Ajay and Konkona) and keeps extending his stay leaving the couple exasperated.
