Kerry Katona dumps mum after discovering new family

Kerry Katona has dumped her mother Sue for her new family.

The former Atomic Kitten singer coldly dumped Sue over the phone after discovering she had four new half-brothers and a look-alike half-sister.

Sue, who had recently patched things up with her troubled daughter, hoped to share in Kerry''s happiness.

However, the reality TV star told her mum she didn''t need her any more.

"Kerry got back in contact with her mum during her MTV show. But all of a sudden this new family turned up and Sue wasn''t needed," News of the World quoted a friend of Sue as saying.

"She can''t believe she''s been ditched again. Sue''s heartbroken after having the door slammed shut in her face. She feels used," the friend added.

DNA tests have proved Kerry was the daughter of Sue''s former lover Ron Armstrong, who died recently of cancer, aged 62.

Although she never got to know her biological dad, Kerry got to meet her new siblings Lynsey, 34, Ian, 27, and 25-year-old Paul.

Ron also had two other children Wayne, 40, and Jason, 39, from his first marriage. (ANI)
