Robbie Williams planning £10m return next year

Robbie Williams has decided to ditch any plans of joining old band Take That and is considering a 10-million pound solo comeback tour next year.

The 35-year-old is setting up a string of dates at London''s O2-his first in the UK for four years.

Moreover, he wants to stay solo so his super gigs have maximum impact.

"He wants to blow Michael Jackson and Take That out of the water with his comeback tour," News of the World quoted a source as saying.

"It''s going to be huge. He wants these gigs to help reestablish himself as the King of Pop," the source added.

He''s hoping about ten dates at the O2, followed by a handful of other gigs around the country will put him in the good light after his disastrous last album.

"Robbie has been itching to get back in front of a live audience since he started writing his new album two years ago," the source said.

"He doesn''t want to be outdone by Take That''s Circus tour, so he''s planning to put on a super show to win back all the fans he''s lost.

"The O2 is the only venue big enough for Robbie to return to with a new tour and they''re desperate to get him," the source added. (ANI)
